Collections
The James House Collections includes the Bridgetown Monitor and Spectator newspapers spanning 1876- present publications, a vast library of genealogical and historical material including books and manuscript files. We have 4 meters of photographs spanning all decades and 500 glass negatives.
Our collection also includes a copy of the 1988 Bridgetown House Inventory project containing photographs, detailed architectural descriptions, previous owners and uses for every house that is over 100 years old in Bridgetown. There is also a genealogical researcher on hand for further inquiries.
